A rant, the first of many.

I work in customer service, a cashier clerk.

I live in a shitty little red neck town. 

That should really sum up how much I hate my job! But I'ma go into more detail. =^.^=

I'm sick of people mooching off government funded care. Like WIC or Foodstamps (which I am apparently suppose to call SNAP benefits because it makes people ON foodstamps feel better about themselves. God forbid the moochers feel bad!). They don't seem to understand that the money they are given is for them, spouse, and children. THAT'S IT! They buy pops for aaaalll their friends. Their mother in law, their father, aunts cousins and nephews. It's so frustrating! 

I work my ass off in my shitty job. I go to school. 

I can't get any kind of aid!

Apparently my broke ass parents are too rich for Financial Aid to lend a hand. I live pay check to pay check, and really I only say live because I don't die. It's really not 'living' I'm doing off my checks.

I hear if I have a kid I get lots and lots of money... yeah, that sounds responsible.

So here I am. 23, working, in school. 

I can't afford school. I can't afford to even live on my own. 

While others get money for doing the oppisite! Don't have a job? Have some cash. Don't give a rats ass about school? HERE have more money. Had unprotected sex? Got a dirty baby you only ever scream at? HAVE ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD.

Yes okay. I know not everyone receiving aid is like this. Allow me to rephrase. Everyone I see in my work place, and have met (in class or out), receiving aid, is like this. And I'm mad at them, and at how easily my government hands out money we don't have.
